What is a balance refund?

If your account is in credit you can have the balance refunded.

How much balance refund can I claim?

You will be offered a maximum amount based on your bill status but you can take a lesser amount.

Do I have to claim the whole amount?

No you can request any amount up to the maximum offered as long as its a whole number.

What happens if I don't take a balance refund?

If a balance refund is not taken the credit will remain against the customer account.

Can I take a payment holiday instead of a credit refund?

Yes if your account is eligible for a payment holiday this will be offered to you.

If I take a credit refund will that increase my MPP payments?

No your monthly payments will remain the same.

When will I receive the balance refund?

The refunded balance will show against your bank account within five working days.
