Accessibility

A website is defined as accessible if anyone can use it, no matter what their disability or what technology they're using. We're committed to making sure that everyone can find the information they need on BT.com and interact with us online. This includes enabling our customers to set page preferences to suit their individual requirements and making it possible to visit various areas of the site without using a mouse. Find out more about getting around the BT site using your keyboard. See Access Keys term.

Account number

Your account number is the series of two letters followed by eight digits that you can find in the top left-hand corner of your phone bill (eg, EX12345678).

Activation

Your activation date is the date your services will start. For example, if you have ordered BT Total Broadband, your activation date is the date when broadband will become available on your phone line.

Automatic reassessment

Automatic reassessment happens if you pay your BT bill on a Monthly Payment Plan. It just means that we automatically review how much you're paying and how much you're using your phone. It's designed to make sure you aren't paying too much or too little each month. Find out more about Monthly Payment Plan.
