Enter your full phone number that you ordered your broadband connection on including the area code.

Why wasn't my phone number accepted?

You may have given the wrong phone number, please check that the telephone number entered is correct. You ordered less than three hours ago. If you did, your details won't be in our systems yet. You are moving between broadband packages, these can't be tracked online. You ordered more than 10 days ago. If you did, you should already be switched on to BT Total Broadband.

Can I track my Welcome Pack delivery with your carrier?

If your order schedule has reached Stage 3 and a more delivery information link appears on the screen you can now track your Welcome Pack parcel delivery. Click the more delivery information link to locate your parcel tracking number.

If your parcel tracking number starts SBT your parcel will be delivered by Home Delivery Network Ltd. Go to www.hdnl.co.uk and enter your tracking number changing the first S to an 8. If your parcel tracking number starts SZ your parcel will be delivered by Royal Mail. Go to www.royalmail.com and enter your tracking number as displayed. If your parcel tracking number starts PB your parcel will be delivered by Parcelforce. Go to www.parcelforce.com and enter your tracking number as displayed.

What will I receive in my Welcome pack?

This will depend on the actual order. If your broadband option includes a router or BT Home Hub, you will receive this along with an instruction booklet and CD to help you set up the equipment and get you online. Any additional items you ordered such as filters or a wireless adapter will also be included in your welcome package. If you have chosen to use your own modem or router you will receive a booklet explaining how to set this up to connect to BT Total Broadband.

Will an engineer need to come to my home?

No it is not necessary for an engineer to visit. BT Total Broadband is designed for you to set up yourself. Full instructions will be supplied in the welcome pack.

How is my phone line enabled for broadband?

Work is carried out in you local BT Telephone exchange to enable your telephone line for broadband. This change does not affect the phone line, which can still be used for telephone calls as normal.

Where can I find help with installing my broadband equipment?

Your welcome pack will include full installation instructions, along with help and guidance. Lots more help information on BT Total Broadband is available at www.bt.com/broadband/help

I am moving between broadband packages - why can't I see my order online?

The order tracking service only shows information for customers ordering a new BT Total Broadband service.
