What does the Address book do?

The Address book offers a convenient way to store all your personal and business contacts in one place, including names, addresses, email addresses, telephone and mobile numbers. As your Address book is online, it means you can access your contact information wherever you are, as long as you have an Internet connection. The Address book also works with your online BT bill to make it simpler to see who you've been calling. When you ring any contacts whose details are in your Address book, their names will show along with their number on your online bill. You can even use the Address book to send emails. Just click on a contact name to write and send them a message using your computer's email program,

How does the Address book work with my online BT bill?

When you add contact information to the Address book, it will be used to improve the display of your online BT bill. When you call a contact from your Address book, their name will show along with their number, making your bill easier to read. You can also save a number that is displayed on your online BT bill, just click Add to Address book.

How do I add a contact?

Open the Address book in Your account and click on Add contact. You can then fill in your contact's personal details. You can also save a number that is displayed on your online BT bill, just click Add to Address book.

How do I edit a contact's details?

Open the Address book in Your account and click on Edit contact. You can then update your contact's personal details.

How do I send an email from the Address book?

Open the Address book, click on Send email and select the name of the person you're contacting. You can also send the same message to a number of people by selecting more than one name. When you have filled in the subject header, click Send to open the message in your computer's email program. You can then write your message and send it in the usual way.

How do I change the display of the Address book?

Open the Address book and click on Preferences. Here you can choose how many contacts to display on each page and decide whether to sort them by name or if they are business or personal.
