Changes to our Business Terms


Brief Description:

We’re making some changes to our business terms. These will come into effect on 1 August 2016. They’ll apply to your existing contracts with us and any new contracts.

Here are some of the key things you need to know:

We want to make your experience contracting with us better. We’ve therefore rewritten our business terms using clearer language and have renamed them the General Terms. They’ll replace the Conditions for BT Business Services and the Main Conditions applicable to each of the services listed in the table below:

These changes have made our contracts shorter, simpler and easier to understand.

From 1 August 2016, you will be able to access the new General Terms and service schedules on the usual BT Business webpages at www.bt.com/terms.

We’ll be updating the terms for many of our other services in the coming months, so please keep a look out for more updates on these pages.

The relevant BT Price List provisions will continue to apply to the applicable services.

While we’re updating our systems, some of our order forms, letters and emails may refer to the terms by their old name. Even if this happens, the new General Terms and service schedules will apply to all services set out in the table above from 1 August 2016.
