Enjoy fast easy-to-use wireless broadband internet access with BT FON. With BT FON, you can get online at broadband speeds at over 2,000 BT Openzone wireless (Wi-Fi) hotspots. You'll find hotspots at public access areas such as railway stations, motorway service areas, hotels and coffee shops) in the UK, Republic of Ireland and many British Airways airport lounges worldwide displaying the BT Openzone sign.
What's more, with BT FON, you share your home Wi-Fi with other members and, in return, get to use theirs when you're out and about. So you get access not just at BT Openzone hotspots, but also when in range of other BT FON members' BT Home Hub. That's hundreds of thousand hotspots worldwide!
It's secure - your access is separate from other users' and there's no extra charge - it's included with your BT Total Broadband package!
As part of your BT Total Broadband subscription (and for the duration of your contract), you get inclusive minutes of access time per month*. BT Total Broadband Option 1 comes with 250 minutes, Option 2 - 350, and Option 3 - unlimited (500 in BT Openzone hotspots).
You need a wireless-enabled device, or a personal digital assistant (PDA). Laptops with the latest Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology will work automatically. If you don't have a wireless-enabled device you can buy a wireless access card (compliant with IEE 802.11b or 802.11g) from www.bt.com/shop or most computer stores.

BT FON is available only to BT Total Broadband residential customers. Opt-in required. Monthly access minute allowance per connection: Option 1 - 250, Option 2 - 350, Option 3 - unlimited (500 in BT Openzone hotspots). Unused monthly minutes cannot be carried forward. Access available in range of BT FON Wi-Fi Community members' BT Home Hubs (coverage dependent on number in active use), BT Openzone hotspots or FON access points outside of the UK.
