What you need and how to play

What you need depends on what you want to play. To start playing online, you'll need your BT Total Broadband connection and either a PC with compatible games or a gaming console such as a Sony PlayStation with memory card and network adaptor kit or a Microsoft Xbox with a starter kit.
Once you're connected, you can access super-fast game play with your PC, PS2 or Xbox. No more playing against the computer, now you can test your skills against millions of online opponents and:
- play specially developed online games
- download exclusive content to power up your game play and access brand new levels on your favourite games
- talk tactics live with other gamers without interrupting your play
Most online games include a menu for finding other players on the internet. Simply choose a group from the list and let the games begin!
Tip: if the online games menu includes a list of 'ping' results, always select the lowest available to enjoy the smoothest online experience.
