Online bill help for non-Javascript users - One off charges

Account Number: This is your BT account number. Use this when making any enquiry to BT about your account.

Bill number: Uniquely identifies your bill. Use this reference number when making enquiries about this bill.

Number: The telephone number that this bill relates to.

Bill date: The date that this bill was issued.

Total: The total amount on your account. If the words ‘Total now due appear by this total, then this is the amount that you owe to BT. If the words ‘Credit balance’ appear by this total, this indicates that your account is in credit and no payment is required.


Account One-off charges: This lists charges that relate to products or services that you have ordered which require a one off payment e.g. connection charge.

Adjustment: is a charge that will be shown if any BT Credit Card Discount has been applied to your BT telephone bill in error e.g. resulting from someone moving house and not informing BT Credit Card of their new telephone number to which to post BT Credit Card Discounts.

Charge for duplicate invoice: This is a charge incurred when a second paper copy of an invoice is requested and sent to you.

Late payment charge: This is a charge incurred when payment for a bill is not received on time. The required date of payment can be found on your bill summary page, under the bill total.
